Flexcare connected Toothbrush – Powered by Philips HealthSuite Digital Platform (HSDP)

The Philips Sonicare app connects to both the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Smart and the FlexCare Platinum Connected toothbrushes.

How does it work?

Users get started in two simple steps: first, installing the app on their phone. Next, connect their phone to their Philips connected toothbrush, either the Sonicare DiamondClean Smart or the FlexCare Platinum, via Bluetooth. With the Philips Sonicare app users can see where they are brushing, navigate trouble spots, and get real-time guidance on the right pressure and brushing motion. All from the palm of their hands.

Creating a connected toothbrush experience and app in the cloud, making use of HealthSuite as enabling platform, collecting data to get to actionable insights.

Proposed Solution & Architecture

This solution has been fully developed on HealthSuite Digital Platform services, which leverages AWS services in the cloud. The product has been successfully developed and deployed on HSDP scalable architecture. With reference customers using it.

Philips has developed a global cloud strategy in which all solutions for Philips in the cloud will leverage HSDP (HealthSuite Digital Platform).
